Who provides the warranty
Every product we sell carries the warranty given by its manufacturer. The manufacturer's warranty terms decide what is covered, how long the cover lasts, and whether a fault is fixed by repair, replacement or another remedy.
Warranty terms differ between manufacturers and between products. They are set out in the documents supplied with the product. If you want to see the warranty terms for a product before you buy it, ask us.
How to make a claim
- Contact us. Email sales@futuregenerators.com, call (727) 761-7772, or use the contact form.
- Tell us what happened. Include your order number, the product and its serial number, a description of the problem and, where they help, photos or a short video.
- We help you file the claim. We tell you what the manufacturer needs and help you submit the claim to them.
- The manufacturer decides. The manufacturer assesses the claim under its warranty terms and decides the outcome.
Please do not send a product back to us for a warranty claim unless we ask you to. For a return that is not about a fault, see the Returns and refunds policy.
Keeping your warranty valid
- Keep your order confirmation or invoice as proof of purchase. Account holders can find past orders under Orders in your account.
- Register the product with the manufacturer if its warranty terms ask you to.
- Install, use and maintain the product as the manufacturer's instructions describe. Manufacturers can decline claims for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse or modification.
What Future Generators does
We help you file warranty claims with the manufacturer for products you bought from us. Future Generators does not give a separate warranty of its own, and the manufacturer, not Future Generators, decides whether a claim is accepted. The Terms of sale explain this in full.
