The Morningstar Prostar MPPT charge controllers with TrakStar Technology™ is an advanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) battery charger for off-grid photovoltaic (PV) systems up to 1100 watts. This controller allows multiple modules in series for 12V and 24V battery systems. Detailed battery programming options allow for advanced battery support for the latest Lithium, Nickel Cadmium, and Lead Acid battery types.
The Morningstar ProStar MPPT Charge Controller battery charging process has been optimized for long battery life and improved system performance. Self-diagnostics and electronic error protections prevent damage when installation mistakes or system faults occur. The controller also features eight (8) adjustable settings switches, several communication ports, and terminals for remote battery temperature and voltage measurement.
An optional Wire Box for ProStar MPPT accessory to reduce hazards associated with exposed wires and connections can be purchased separately.
